Deeson is a digital agency that designs and builds high profile, high stakes transformational web platforms.
Our multi-disciplinary agile teams have delivered open source platforms including public-facing websites, intranets, data platforms, business systems and system integrations for some of the biggest brands in the UK. Our clients include Johnson & Johnson, ITV, BDO, Robbie Williams, the Royal Collection Trust, the Imperial War Museum, and the National Crime Agency.

This approach has helped drive double digit revenue increases annually since 2014 and have ambitious growth plans for the next three years.
As part of these plans were hiring a senior digital strategist for an agency leadership role with responsibility for delivering strategy and advisory capability for new and existing Deeson clients.
Who we're looking for
Our work is primarily building and integrating bespoke digital web platforms, so digital strategy is an important part of helping clients see how digital platforms can be an important part of their overall digital transformation programmes.
Were looking for a digital leader with demonstrable experience in business to business digital strategy and digital transformation. Youll have experience of working with senior clients to scope, define and sell digital strategies for diverse client organisations.
The successful candidate will be a digital evangelist with a strong track record of shaping and selling digital projects to key stakeholders in client organisations. A diverse background with experience in digital transformation, strategy, planning and digital marketing will be a big positive.
In practice this probably means at least ten years relevant experience within high profile management/strategic digital positions within a large client, comparable agency, or consulting organisation. Being able to effectively credibly engage clients and prospects at a range of levels, including board level, is a must.
A deep and considered understanding of the potential for digital to transform organisations is vital, as well as a passion for learning about future technologies and being able to evaluate their applicability to business challenges.
The candidates ability to think strategically, reframing client problems to reveal innovative ways to approach or solve them, will be vital. As well as solving those problems the Digital Strategy Director will be able to evaluate and articulate the business and organisational implications of the solution theyre proposing.
Our new hire will be an articulate storyteller whos able to bring complex strategies, arguments and concepts to life in a way thats less formal than a cookie cutter PowerPoint deck.
This role would suit a candidate whos seeking an opportunity to drive growth in a high performing agency business and has the flexibility, maturity and leadership skills to match their ambition. The candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and will be a self-starter who thrives on being able to create and convert genuine opportunities from complexity.
