Havas Lynx is a global communications group, with offices in Manchester, London and New York. We operate within the healthcare and wellness sectors - our campaign activity sees us enhancing people’s lives via a variety of means, for example, by helping patients to understand their treatment options, by providing support to carers, or helping Healthcare Professionals and others within healthcare systems to make appropriate treatment decisions. Our Head Office is in the centre of Manchester and due to the team’s impact and their subsequent success, we’re pleased to be seeking an experienced Account Manager to join us.

This role will combine strategy development and tactical delivery; we have a culture of being hands on and taking ownership and responsibility as part of a team so it’s important that you can draw on your previous Agency experience in order to deliver results and exceptional service levels to your clients. This role will see you work with clients across the Pharmaceutical sector, although prior experience in this industry isn’t essential – what’s key is that you’re willing to apply your skill set and learn about a new market.

We’re looking for someone who would describe themselves as ambitious. This role involves global travel and when you’re with clients, you’re not only demonstrating an exceptional level of control, knowledge and ownership of the activity that your team is undertaking, you’re also making sound strategic recommendations on integrated campaign activity.

We are looking for a skilled relationship developer who appreciates that the key to achieving long term success with an account; is the consistently strong delivery of a wide range of activities. Therefore, we will ask you to work with clients on the development of overarching strategic goals and objectives, to set measurable KPIs and then manage the delivery of the associated projects. Our multidisciplinary teams will help – here, you can expect to work with experienced Planners, dedicated Client Services professionals, scientifically brilliant Medical Writers, talented Creatives and technical Developers. We ask you to direct the development and utilisation of project teams in an efficient, effective way – not forgetting to ensure that yourself and the team are engaged, motivated and having fun as you go. 

As well as a proven track record in a similar role, your soft skills are also important. While we’re a big agency, we’re structured around close knit teams, so your personality is key too. You’ll work with Directors of the business, as well as mentoring more junior team members to progress their development.
