World Creative Rankings: the most-awarded holding companies and networks
The World Creative Rankings is our annual study of the brands, agencies and people behind the world’s best creative work. In this instalment, we reveal which holding companies and networks were the most awarded in 2020.

BBDO Worldwide were the top network in the World Creative Rankings, due in part for their ‘School essentials’ gun safety work
Each year, The Drum’s research team analyzes the data from all of the advertising industry's major awards schemes to find out which companies created the most award-winning work in the previous calendar year. This time round, that meant examining 1,768 campaigns from 1,295 clients working with 964 agencies composed of 387 chief creative officers, 483 executive creative directors, 1,319 creative directors, 1,061 copywriters and 1,222 art directors.
For the second year running, Omnicom Group has topped the holding companies table, bouyed by its star performer BBDO Worldwide, once again leading the way in the networks table. You can find the top 100 global agencies here.
