Phiture, one of the leading mobile growth agencies in the market and one of top 100 fastest-growing agencies worldwide, is happy to announce it is expanding its locations into the US, where many of its clients, including Headspace and Adobe, are present.
The New York office will help the company to tighten its grip in the market, fortifying both new and existing relationships. Along with this, it will be hiring not just in New York City, but also remotely across the country, building a team that’s spread out throughout the region.
This acts as part of an ambitious expansion plan that sees the Berlin-born company growing to 400 employees by 2025 and becoming the worldwide consultancy for mobile growth, having brought onboard Gabe Kwakyi, ex-chief exec of Incipia, which managed paid and organic marketing strategies for companies such as Walmart, Canva, Coinbase and PeopleFun. He was also co-writer of the ASO ebook alongside Phiture’s Moritz Daan.
Kwakyi brings with him a decade of digital marketing experience and a deep, technical expertise in user acquisition in addition to ASO. As well as leading the Phiture US expansion, he also brings his leadership experience to Phiture’s acquisition and advertising teams as the director of acquisition teams, ensuring that Phiture clients are provided cross-discipline organic/paid strategy for better efficiency and effectiveness at the mobile growth program-level.
Pablo Penny, managing director at Phiture, said: “After five years of extensive growth and having become one of the top leading agencies for mobile growth, Phiture’s expansion into the US was a natural next step. We’re already achieving great results in the market, and now we’re ready to formally open a local office in New York.
“We’re happy to have brought Gabe onboard for this new challenge, and to be able to count on him as one of the top leaders in all things ASO and mobile growth to tackle his challenge.
“Gabe’s deep knowledge of mobile and user acquisition and his expertise in the agency space will undoubtedly be an asset, and we’re happy to have him as an official part of the Phiture family.”
Kwakyi said: “By opening an office in New York, it’ll be much easier for Phiture to work with all of its existing US clients, and we anticipate that other US-based companies will be more eager to work with us moving forward. From things such as timezone alignment to an improved ability to workshop and plan with clients in person, our US expansion will help Phiture to present itself as the best agency that can not only help American companies to manage their domestic or English-market mobile marketing operations, but also be a trusted partner that can help them expand into any market across the globe.
“Phiture is the ideal partner for any US-based company looking into a European or global expansion given its deep localization and culturalization team, which draws on years of experience and results in the area, driving strong global growth results for SoundCloud and many other clients. For many US-based companies, the initial focus is the US, followed by the other primarily English markets of Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa; but this strategy eventually reaches a saturation point where growth diminishes in these markets, and a European or global expansion strategy is needed – and this is where Phiture is very well-positioned to help.”
As part of this expansion, Phiture is already hiring for specific US positions in New York City and remotely across the US. Hiring for US recruiters is already under way, with more to be announced soon. As part of the US opening, Phiture will be doing a series of local meet-and-greets with clients and other industry members.
With these steps, Phiture aims at becoming even more of a leader in one of its most important markets, with more expansions coming soon.
