Being a non-native grocery store in Sweden has its challenges. Yet Lidl wants to show why being different is not so bad after all.

Created by agency Volt, this dreamlike spot shows a man travelling the length and breadth of Sweden to pick up his groceries in a shopping cart. He journeys through valleys, forests and glaciers before the ad reveals that he was simply daydreaming in Lidl's frozen food section all along.

The spot is accompanied by a narration which concisely tells of Lidl's business philosophy, in an attempt to persuade Swedes that its business model can allow them to make savings on their groceries and household goods.
