To celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD), Uber launches a campaign film celebrating the real stories of female drivers who shatter stereotypes as they go beyond bringing hundreds of thousands of riders to their destination everyday.
Titled #DrivenWomen, the film brings together women who have joined Uber as a way to earn an income while also balancing other responsibilities, such as family, work, and education.
According to the latest global study conducted by the International Finance Corporation, 74% of female driver-partners cited flexibility as the key reason they drive for Uber.
The campaign film was developed by Uber’s in-house creative team (CreativeX) in collaboration with award-winning studios Freeflow Productions and frame by frame pictures. It goes live on Uber channels across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan starting today, 6 March 2018.
