Torrid has partnered with actress and model Barbie Ferreira to launch the brand’s first-ever short film series, Torrid Stories.

Inspired by the confidence Torrid has seen in its favorite women, the four-part series of stylized digital shorts (which will live on digital and social platforms) highlights the power of fit and how even when the going gets tough, the tough can still look fabulous.

Ferreira’s character is the girl who’s always the life of the party and spreader of good vibes—even when she finds herself in the occasional predicament.

The first film, titled Locked Out, debuted on 6 December and the second film, Night Out, will be released on 18 December with a special cameo by RuPaul. The series will continue to roll out additional episodes with special guests into 2020. Helmed by award winning Director Sasie Sealy, who is known for her striking visuals and focus on female-led narratives, the all-female crew brings a deep authenticity to the story arch.
