A new collaboration of arts institutions that celebrate Latin American and Latino art has debuted around Los Angeles with the launch of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA PST: LA/LA will feature more than 70+ exhibitions from Santa Barbara to San Diego starting this week running through January 2018.

The campaign, created by TBWA Chiat Day LA, describes works of art that will be a part of PST: LA/LA. The copy sparks curiosity with phrases like, “There will be a nose ring full of spiders. There will be art.” The campaign boasts 52 different sayings, each describing various pieces of art included in the exhibits. And as a result, a better understanding and appreciation of Latin American and Latino culture.

Los Angeles will be covered with these descriptions of the art, from a mobile experience, transit shelters, bus benches and billboards to TV, print, digital and social media. Several of the OOH pieces include Snapcodes, which will allow those passing by to see a peek of what the copy line is describing and then find their way to the exhibit that showcases that specific work of art.
