What do Matt Damon, Uzo Aduba, Jordana Brewster, Zachary Levi, Joe Manganiello and Candice Patton have in common? They have all been touched by cancer in some way, and the stars have teamed up to support those battling the disease in a public service ad launched by Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) in collaboration with Major League Baseball (MLB).

The video, titled ‘For All The Moments We Stand Up,’ takes viewers through all of the memorable baseball moments – catching a foul ball, snagging a bag of peanuts from the vendor, watching yourself on the jumbotron – and then finishes with the powerful image of an entire stadium standing in solidarity. It also features Connor, a Ewing sarcoma survivor, and Marshella, a breast cancer survivor.

MLB has donated $50m to SU2C’s collaborative cancer research programs in just 11 years, which has led to six FDA approvals for cancer therapies so far.
