The coronavirus has arrived in Africa: its spread on the continent is inevitable and the mortality rate is likely to be 3 times higher here.

Created in 2009, the medical humanitarian NGO, which has a strong presence in Africa, fears this arrival in countries whose health systems are among the most fragile in the world, with far less resources than those mobilized in Europe, China or the United States

ALIMA doctors are taking action. As health systems are more fragile, equipment and staff are insufficient, the NGO fears a mortality rate linked to Covid-19, 3 to 5 times higher than in the rest of the world.

The NGO contacted the agency Socialclub to set up a fundraising campaign, to save lives by financing oxygen concentrators.
