Sprite has turned to the world of male pole dancing as part of a wider campaign which encourages people to keep a cool head when facing criticism and abuse.

‘It’s haters season, stay fresh’ features a performance by male Pole Dancing World Champion Alberto Del Campo as he dances in harmony with a sequence of text messages capturing the essence of some of the bile spouted by people critical of men performing in this way.

Shot in a single take, the piece was choreographed by director Jo Roy, with the idea conceived by the Santo agency and production company La Doble.

Previous Sprite commercials have been more mainstream, including a music video by rap artist Vince Staples.
