Oreo and comic book hero Batman have joined forces for a limited edition run of cookies, promoted by a fun-filled video that sees the Gotham City recreated with the sweet treats.

Bringing together two American icons, the short film begins by teasing viewers with various Batman-related symbols engraved into the Oreos before dramatically panning across a cookie-built Gotham City.

Throughout the years, many Batman movies have adopted a monochromatic color scheme reminiscent of film noir classics, which the creatives at Saatchi & Saatchi Düsseldorf have cleverly nodded to with the black and white contrasting tones of Oreo.

The spot is inspired by the various riddles in the comics and aims to entice viewers to explore the Batman universe through a multitude of digital touchpoints designed by MediaMonks.
