Reading is more satisfying than sex? Yes, according to Book of the Month’s members. In Book of the Month’s latest campaign, created by independent Brooklyn-based agency Quirk Creative, it shows how good a night in with a book can really be.

The 'Satisfied Customer' campaign features a Book of the Month member vividly describing her wild night while her friends anxiously hang onto every detail. They’re amazed to learn she does this act at least once a month—and usually while her boyfriend is asleep. Naturally, it’s her Book of the Month subscription keeping her so satisfied. 'Satisfied Customer' also highlights the tribe feeling of sharing a good book and being part of the Book of the Month community.

The ad was created for TV, but some networks have refused to air it due to its sexual undertones.

Book of the Month offers a selection of five new hardcover books each month, primarily by debut and emerging authors. Originally founded in 1926, the brand was relaunched in 2015 and now reaches over 15 million women each month with more than 150,000 active members.
