Pinterest: Show Your True Colours

Pinterest is celebrating Pride by launching a campaign called 'Show Your True Colours', aimed at driving inspiration, celebration and action among Pinners and Creators.

The campaign includes a digital film featuring six LGBTQIA+ Pinners and cultural icons to inspire the queer community and allies in areas of their lives. Produced by Platform13 and directed by Mollie Mills, the concept for the films was centered on casting passionate Pinterest users from the LGBTQIA+ community from around the world.

Pinterest will also giving back to the Queer community by donating to not-for-profits as recommended by cast and matching employee donations 2:1 to organizations that provide advocacy for LGBTQ+ issues. Organisations include; Immigration Equality, a leading LGBTQ+ immigration rights organization, Mermaids, in the UK, which helps gender diverse-diverse kids, young people and their families, and BLAQ, an organization committed to empowering the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQ+ community through innovation, inclusion, understanding and advocacy.
