Trolli, James Harden and Periscope have teamed up for Trolli Sour Brite Sneaks. The candy will be teased to the public at the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend. Bite-sized sample shoe boxes will be handed out with a pair of the Sneaks gummies (of course a left and a right shoe) for attendees to taste. The custom designed mini shoe boxes will announce the official candy launch date. Images of the new candy will be leaked by sneakerheads such as John Trottier, Dennis Todisco and Alan Galloway, as if they were a rumored pair of fresh kicks.

Periscope is leading the creative campaign, which is all about bringing the shoe game to the chew game, and includes social, digital and influencer components. They also helped design the candy itself, as well as the packaging.

One way Trolli and sneaker fans can get involved is with the Instagram contest Remix Your Kicks. Instagrammers who remix the photo of the day can enter to win a Trolli secret prize. Trolli will also be raffling off three life-size Harden Vol. “Chews” made out of gummi candy with StockX, the stock market of things. The custom sneaks will come with a certificate of Awesometicity from Trolli and a Harden signed pair of his new Adidas shoe, Harden Vol. 2. You will also find content on other social platforms from Harden, 7-Eleven and Trolli as Sour Brite Sneaks step into the world.
