As approach the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing, the 1969 lunar mission isn't the only space news making the rounds; Eric Cantona has finally made it to 'Space' to prove Kronenbourg 1664 is 'Le Taste Supreme.'

After the former-footballer announced his intention to enter space back in June, Kronenbourg has kept fans up to date with Cantona's training, as he prepares himself for the mission.

And now, four days short of Apollo 11's 50th anniversary (20 July), Cantona has officially made it to space. Although this space is a little closer to home: Space Nightclub, the clubbers haven on the island of Ibiza.

Created by ad agency Ogilvy, the spot sees Cantona looking the part, dressed head to toe in an astronaut suit. As his team busy themselves around him, seeing to last-minute preparations, Cantona says to the camera "the haters would not believe I would go to space. But Cantona always shoots for the Moon, as even if he misses, he lands upon the stars."

As he marches to the rocket, what the viewer assumes is the end destination, one of Cantona's team says to other "but I thought space had shut down?" - a reference to the Ibiza club that shut down in 2016.

Cantona then pushes definitely through the doors opposite, finding himself in a DJ booth at Space Ibiza, not a spacecraft. Beneath the decks, a crowd has congregated to see Cantona mix - which he does with as much enthusiasm as Kevin and Perry, when they go large.
