AirBnB has dominated the hotel industry, but the Honduras Maya Hotel decided to fight back. They turned the hotel’s rooms into chic apartments, just like the ones people would book on AirBnB. And they turned every hotel employee into a host, putting their rooms up for rent on the service.
Guests might have been confused upon arrival, but they soon saw that they got everything they signed up for—and much more.
