For 10 years TEDxAmsterdamWomen has provided a stage to inspiring women and men who focus on issues that affect women today.

On 9 December, 12 talented National and International speakers will once again take the stage at the Royal Institute of the Tropics (KIT) in Amsterdam. Nomads, a company that firmly believes in female empowerment, developed this years’ campaign, strategy and theme for the event.

It's been over 100 years since the Suffragettes movement, yet women still don’t have equal rights and gender bias is still an issue. And that today, there is the added issue of the online world where, particularly when it comes to AI, gender bias is rampant. Programmed in from the start, this bias has disastrous and long-lasting repercussions, affecting everything from education to a woman’s credit limit to whether they are offered a job or not.
