When online clothing retailer Nadaam decided to open its first brick-and-mortar store in New York, it promoted the way the company sources the cashmere it uses in its clothing with a provocative out-of-home poster campaign.

The posters, plastered all over New York City’s trendiest neighborhoods, featured goats having sex – complete with covering their eyes with black bars, porn style. The taglines stated: “This is how we make sustainable cashmere” and” Sustainable cashmere, coming soon.”

Naadam also sponsors a goat-breeding program in Mongolia, where it sources its cashmere and where the company claims the best cashmere comes from.
