Michelob Ultra, a beer brand known for championing those who live an active lifestyle, announced it’s taking things one step further this Thanksgiving by trademarking The Official Beer of Turkey Trotters.

Ahead of the biggest running day of the year, Thanksgiving, Ultra is raising a cold one to the more than one million Americans who will lace up their shoes with friends and family to move their feet before they eat.

As The Official Beer of Turkey Trotters, Michelob Ultra is sponsoring local races around the country and encouraging consumers to share how they #WillTrotForBeer this Thanksgiving. Here’s how you and your readers can participate:

Trotters 21+ are invited to follow @MichelobULTRA on Twitter or Instagram and share a photo from their Turkey Trot using #WillTrotForBeer and tagging @MichelobULTRA

For each trotter who shares a race day photo between November 28-December 1, Michelob Ultra will donate $1 up to $10K to AmpleHarvest.org, a non-profit on a mission to end food waste and hunger

Last but definitely not least, Michelob ULTRA will bring to life its commitment to trotters through a fun piece of digital content featuring Saturday Night Live’s Beck Bennett. The brand will unveil its homage on Twitter before turkey trotters take the course on Thanksgiving.
