During the holidays, there’s always a touch of magic in the air. The New York Lottery wants people (and animals) to share that magic by playing and giving Holiday Scratch-Off games.

'Bodega Cat' by McCann New York, features one of those loveable and furry symbols of New York delis and corner stores. This particular Bodega Cat wants nothing more than to warm the heart of its store owner during the holidays. So Cyrus the cat embarks on a long journey into the cold night and through a festive and snowy New York to deliver a little cheer in the most magical way possible. Directed by Jake Scott, the ad features quintessential shots of New York during the holidays.

The New York Lottery releases new Holiday Scratch-Off tickets each November. This campaign supports the launch of this year’s Holiday tickets which are in-stores now. The TV campaign will be supported by OOH, social media, print, radio and retail efforts. Additional efforts will include Retail point-of-sale in Lottery retailers.

UM (media) and Momentum (Retail POS) were also involved in the campaign.
