Hennessy: Greatness Is An Odyssey by Laundry Service
- Location:
Hennessy's new campaign - 'Greatness Is An Odyssey” - follows actor Henry Golding as he embarks on a journey across three continents to pay homage to the people and places that have inspired and supported him along his path to greatness.
Created by Laundry Service, the campaign is a three episode docuseries that spotlights Hennessy's Prestige portfolio through the lens of discerning taste and travel, influenced by Henry Golding's distinctively modern way of looking at the world. Henry's continental life's journey and his newfound fame have allowed him to adopt an international mindset. His ambitions have led him on a real life odyssey, pushing the limits of potential for himself and each industry he touches along the way.
Episode 1 – England: Rebirth and transformation: England is where Henry really began to find himself both personally and professionally. Moving from his hometown in Malaysia at the young age of five, it gave him a fresh perspective on the world which inspired him to explore and experiment like never before.
Episode 2 – Singapore: Reconnection and exploration: For Henry, Singapore was about reconnecting with his cultural roots and blossoming into the household name he has become. Going from TV presenter to leading man in the world’s second highest grossing box office film, Henry’s time in Singapore helped put the city on the map in the film business.
Episode 3 – Los Angeles: Dedication and legacy: In Los Angeles, we look to the future as Henry prepares for the biggest chapter of his career. Like an athlete before game day, we explore the roller coaster of emotions, hard work and dedication behind Henry’s transition into Hollywood. In this episode, we follow Henry as he prepares for his upcoming film; working out, practicing martial arts, reading lines of scripts before exploring the importance of his support network through his wife, Liv.
The campaign will run on @HennessyUS social channels as well as Henry Golding’s social channels from now through January of 2020.
