Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is bringing the sweet and heat to its fried chicken with its newest menu item, Hot Honey, and it has introduced a Colonel Sanders bear to help promote the sticky concoction.

Inspired by mash-up of golden honey and mild peppers, the new flavor adds a southern flair.

KFC’s newest Colonel is unlike any of his predecessors – mostly because he’s a talking plastic bear-shaped figure with the Colonel’s signature facial hair. Just like his human inspiration, Colonel Sanders, Colonel Bear is obsessed with promoting KFC. As new ad spots show, sometimes Colonel Bear takes his dedication a little too far, in a slightly weird way, leading to the sweet little bear’s fiery side coming out. He is seen on a table as parents attempt to have a serious talk with their son. The Colonel bear interrupts to talk about the Hot Honey, not caring that he has invaded family time. He then blows his lid in a burst of fire.
