The Department of Health and Social Care has partnered with Jungle Creations to create two mini-documentaries that drive awareness among 15 - 18-year-olds of adult social care as a viable employment route.

Produced by Jungle Creations’ creative agency, The Wild, the mini-documentaries each follow the story of a young adult carer in the UK. Through interviews with the carers, and those they care for, as well as depictions of their day-to-day activities, the audience learns how adult social care mutually rewards both through the meaningful connections that they’ve formed. The documentaries also highlight the benefits of working in adult social care, including the training, flexibility, and variety.

To reach a younger audience, the first video was published by Jungle Creations’ news and entertainment media brand, VT, to IGTV and the second to Facebook, with the format, tempo and tone of each video tailored to suit the platform where it was published.
