QuickBooks will be halting its current advertising campaign and donating its entire television ad buy to run ads directing people to donate to the just announced Small Business Relief Fund.

For background, GoFundMe just launched with partners like QuickBooks and Yelp the Small Business Relief Fund to make it easier for people to help their local small businesses in a trusted way that will have a true impact on the cash flow and livelihoods of the business owners that are struggling during this time.

The impact Covid-19 is having on the health of small businesses across the country is undeniable. As many business owners are struggling with cash flow issues in the face of decreased business and foot traffic, many people are looking for ways to support and help the small businesses that are not only the backbone of the economy, but the communities we all live in, while also respecting shelter-in-place orders and social distancing guidelines. This is why QuickBooks and GoFundMe teamed up with other partners to create the fund, and why QuickBooks decided to halt commercials for its product in favor of promoting this fund.
