Full-service digital agency Iced Media has created a social video campaign featuring Reese Witherspoon as Storyteller-In-Chief for beauty giant Elizabeth Arden. The video spots dive into the story of Elizabeth Arden, focusing on her passion, innovation, and desire to unify women. Using dynamic animation and graphic overlays, the videos juxtapose Witherspoon’s contemporary first-person narration with the eponymous founder’s photo archive to illustrate the brand’s rich history.

By creating the Storyteller-In-Chief role for Witherspoon, Iced Media was able to explore the parallels between Witherspoon’s own career and that of Elizabeth Arden. Both are powerful women known for using their position to champion women and their causes. The strategy surrounding the campaign was to align these strong women, and show how Elizabeth Arden has always stood for giving women the confidence to be powerful and bold.

The new campaign makes Elizabeth Arden a part of the real-time platform agnostic digital conversation and encourages the women of today to share their own stories.
