Ed Sheeran has been a longtime fan of Heinz Ketchup. He’s professed his love for Heinz on Twitter, in interviews, and he even has the Heinz logo tattooed on his arm.
His fans know Ed loves Heinz. In fact, one-third of @Heinz Instagram posts include people mentioning or tagging Ed, dating all the way back to 2014.
Answering to speculating fans since Heinz and Ed Sheeran publicly made contact in April, the two icons took to Instagram this morning to announce they are coming together to introduce the “perfect” bottle of ketchup – Heinz Edchup.
This National Ketchup Day (5 June), Heinz Ketchup is officially bringing Ed’s very own ketchup to his biggest fans, featuring a special Ed-Inspired emoji on the same Heinz ketchup you know and love.
Sheeran fans can get their hands on the special edition bottles of Heinz Tomato Edchup at HeinzEdchup.com, while supplies last.
Sheeran was so excited for Edchup, he showed a script he’d written for a Heinz Tomato Ketchup TV ad, which was then produced, featuring Sheeran in a posh restaurant pouring ketchup on his fancy dish.
