Ahead of the phased opening of UK schools to more pupils from this morning, the Department for Education released a film thanking all those who have kept children learning in lockdown.

It has been created exclusively using footage captured by teachers and parents as they’ve adapted to remote learning and home schooling over the past 10 weeks, and is set to Pretty Shining People by George Ezra, after the Brit Award-winning son of two teachers donated use of the song to this campaign for a nominal fee.
