Freshii, a health and wellness brand whose mission is to help citizens of the world live better by making healthy food convenient and affordable, is always on the hunt to innovate their menu and grow its brand. With the Super Bowl quickly approaching, Freshii has created a purposeful online conversation around the big game to help bring healthy food to the masses.

Introducing, the Freshii #SoupOrBowl, a social activation centred around giving back to local communities. Freshii is hijacking the game by asking folks on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to replace their #superbowl hashtag with #SoupOrBowl in the days leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. From current and new customers to fellow brands and competitors, those who share the hashtag will receive $1 off their next purchase of a soup or bowl, and they’ll also have a soup or bowl donated on their behalf to someone in need. For every #SouporBowl from today until 2 February, Freshii will donate a soup or bowl to the hungry.

Why is Freshii doing this? While the big game is a significant event itself, the Sunday experience wouldn’t be complete without a feast. Not everyone has access or the means to indulge on the big day, and Freshii wanted to raise awareness about food insecurity, which is why they’re donating to Second Harvest in Canada and Food Rescue in the US to feed the communities the organizations serve.
