The Fear Going to School Less campaign is the result of recent research conducted by the brand with YouGov UK which reveals that 350,000* UK girls are missing school due to their period, equivalent of 2.1 million hours of education*, with 27% saying embarrassment and shame-related factors are the reasons behind this.

To explore the report findings further, Bodyform has produced a short film interviewing young people from across the UK, which reveals more about why children miss school on their period and what they believe should be done to tackle the problem.

The campaign has been launched with the recognition that there are both emotional and economic reasons behind girls missing school on their period.
