Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Fancy, the ad agency elevating what matters to women, debuts new work for Lion’s Den, the official store of pleasure, passion and romance. At the centerpiece of the creative is a throwback :30 broadcast spot, with a very modern twist. Entitled ‘Rub-A-Dub’, the creative campaign also includes digital and social elements.

The ad opens on a woman luxuriating in a bubble bath, a la many an 80s soap ad. To complete the retro vibe, the spot includes time-worn, prolonged cross dissolves, as mellow music softly plays in the background. The woman’s ethereal experience is disrupted as a surprise snorkel pops out of the suds. Quickly, the entire snorkeler emerges, face obscured by a scuba mask. He and the woman share a short exchange about who’s responsible for ‘this genius idea.’ He then goes back to work. The super 'Waterproof Toys' is followed by 'And Lingerie', over the items she’s just slipped out of, before sliding into the tub. The vibrating logo and tagline let the viewer know Lion’s Den has everything a couple needs for pleasure. passion. romance.
