Malaysian state-owned oil and gas company Petronas has created an online film to pay tribute to its partners and stakeholders in India.

The three–part film, titled ‘Land of Light Bulbs’ and jointly created by Ensemble Worldwide, Director’s Think Tank and Fingerprint Films, celebrates India’s spirit of ingenuity with a story that explores friendship, energy and collaboration in resolving challenges.

The main actors in the web film include Rahul Pethe (Aman), Shruthy Menon (Asha), Umang Vyas (Shiv), Rupesh Tilu (Javed) as well as Sunny Pawar (Chandar), star of Lion and winner of 19th New York Indian Film Festival Best Child Award and Rahul Kumar, who starred as Milimeter in 3 Idiots.

“This project is a culmination of the partnerships and collaborative efforts of various stakeholders for Petronas’ and its partners in India. We were inspired by this friendship and wanted to bring it to life in Land of Light Bulbs,” said Chan Woei Hern, the executive creative director of Ensemble Worldwide.

“It was also an opportunity to create a branded content campaign to strengthen Petronas’ presence in India.”

The first chapter of ‘Land of Light Bulbs’ titled Flicker will be available for viewing on Petronas’ YouTube channel and viewers can expect the second chapter on December 10, and the third chapter by 23rd December.
