Johnsonville is the title sponsor of one of the most American professional sports leagues out there: The American Cornhole League. This cornhole league held a pro tournament on the Fourth of July in the most American island out there — Coney Island.
Johnsonville’s American All-Star Throwdown — an exhibition match during the ACL pro invitational where some of the most legendary Americans faced off one bean bag toss at a time – in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPN2. In one corner, there was George Washington and Bald Eagle. In the other, Lady Liberty and Ben Franklin. It was truly a match made the Johnsonville way.
The stakes were higher than ever, as these American legends battled it out for a donation to their favorite charity, the most American trophy in history, and above all, Johnsonville firecracker brats.
People who came on down to Coney Island the day off got to watch the epic match in person as well as get some patriotic pictures with the legends, grab a brat from the Johnsonville Big Taste Grill, or even catch one from the inaugural outing of the Johnsonville Brat Cannon — a revolutionary war cannon that shoots tasty brats.
