Amazon Alexa returns to the Super Bowl, this time with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi leaving for an event and asking Alexa to turn down the temperature. That leads them to ask what people did before Alexa.

From there, we see people in different eras asking various people named Alessa, Alex, Al, Alexine and others to do certain mundane chores for them.

The company encourages people, ahead of the big game, to have a bit of fun with Alexa – just ask, “Alexa, what did we do before you?”
