Singapore’s national water agency PUB is urging Singapore to contribute to water conservation in the country in a new campaign ahead of World Water Day.

The campaign, called "Make every drop count" created by DDB, features a video where Singaporeans are shown how they realized that simple actions could save water consumption at home.

In addition, the campaign also has a series of print, out-of-home, digital, and social advertisements that highlight six simple ways to use water more sustainably.

The ads use smiles to show the benefits of saving water for people, appliances, and the environment. The ads also directs the public to a website where they can learn tips on how to save water and take part in a contest.

“With climate change and rising water demand impacting our water resources, we all must do our part to use water wisely, so that we will always have enough for future generations,” said Cindy Keng, director of the 3P network department at PUB.

“And that starts with having a strong water-conscious culture among people in Singapore. Through this campaign, we want to encourage everyone to play their part, by showing them that water conservation can be that simple. Every little action in our daily lives count, and collectively we can make a big difference.”
