Gifs are the second most shared type of content on the internet today, after memes. Especially in a time like this when people are looking to engage with people through fun and light-hearted content online.

When sharing gifs on platforms such as Instagram Stories, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Slack, Snapchat or even iMessage, they all originate from Giphy.

Giphy is organised by #hashtag and gifs can be found using specific search terms. We've seen an unprecedented rise in the search volumes of terms like 'workfromhome', 'wfh' and 'stayhome' since lockdown.

This campaign hijacked those popular search terms with comedic sketches turned into gifs using Crocs as the hero of skit so users could include them in their private messages and stories.
