Everything has an impact on the environment, but Bloom & Wild is working hard to reduce it. Here’s how the flower brand hopes to offset its carbon footprint:

  • It offsets all of its carbon emissions, and this year are working to reduce emissions by 8% per bouquet
  • Its letterbox packaging is 100% recyclable, and this year all packaging will become 100% recyclable
  • It sends zero waste to landfill. Bloom & Wild uses forecasting to minimise waste and has strategies in place to make sure any leftover flowers aren't wasted
  • This year it is partnering with the Bee Friendly Trust to help protect bees and to educate and inform customers on how important pollinating bees are to the environment

Customers can do their part by putting everything in the right recycling bin and by composting flowers at the end of their vase life. Packaging and petals can be used for fun craft projects too. And for the green-fingered, Bloom & Wild sends its tulips with the bulbs still on which not only keeps them fresher for longer but also means the bulbs can be cut off and replanted too.
