Trucks, monsters and cult leaders are all the more beautiful on PS4 Pro with dynamic 4K. So beautiful, in fact, they deserve to be described through something equally as beautiful: opera. In this spot from BBH New York, an opera singer performs to the tune of Largo al factotum, or more commonly known as Figaro, to describe a gamer’s incredible experience playing on a PS4 Pro with dynamic 4K.

We see the gamer making his way through four PS4 games – God of War, Far Cry 5, Monster Hunter: World, and MLB The Show 18. All the while, the opera singer is awestruck by what’s happening on the 4K television, from beautiful vistas to epic explosions. It’s so beautiful, he can’t look away, as game footage and lyrics crescendo to a dramatic finale. The campaign extends to social where we give gaming tips the operatic treatment, as well as beautiful moments from all four games, each one using fun, irreverent lyrics to the tune of Figaro.

The campaign makes it clear that gameplay on a PS4 Pro with dynamic 4K is beautiful enough that the only way to describe it is through the voice of an opera singer. Adelmo Guidarelli, the opera singer in the spot, is in fact an actual opera singer, a classically trained baritone who was perfect for the role of our very own Figaro since he’s played the role in Mozart’s Le Nozze De Figaro for the St. Petersburg Opera.
