The Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) and BBH announced the launch of the 2019 #ChooseWomen campaign, a grassroots social media movement designed to inspire women and men to pledge their support to #ChooseWomen everywhere – in business, public life and local communities. As part of the campaign, WEDO will celebrate #ChooseWomen Wednesday on Dec. 4.

The centerpiece of the campaign will occur on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving with #ChooseWomen Wednesday.

Building off the momentum of Women's Entrepreneurship Day, #ChooseWomen Wednesday invites consumers to shop at women-owned businesses, read books by female authors, listen to female musicians, vote for female politicians, and otherwise promote and mentor women in an effort to close the gender gap once and for all.

A complete brand tool kit will be premiered at the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Summit, including a new film and custom AR filter created by BBH. The film, directed by Station Films’ Ssong Yang, will be shared with all attendees and pushed across social, announcing the #ChooseWomen movement to the world. Later this month, users will be encouraged to post Instagram stories using the AR filters with a breaking glass effect.
