If you walk into Burger King, otherwise known as ‘home of The Whopper’ tomorrow (April 17) and ask for anything other than a Whopper, you’ll receive a… Whopper.

Its ‘Go Whopper or Go Home’ campaign seeks to honour Burger King’s renowned burger by hosting a Whopper takeover, in a bid to reignite the nation’s love for the burger.

Marking its first UK Whopper campaign for over a decade, the campaign created by BBH comprises multiple cross-channel activations, including a ‘Whopper Mandate’ running in the Metro today (April 16).

To accompany this, Burger King has unveiled two films to run on TV, out-of-home and large-scale print.

Set on ‘Whopper Takeover’ day, the TV adverts features Burger King customers getting turned away when they ask for anything other than a Whopper.

Free Whoppers will also be available for customers if they download the Burger King app.
