Hockey fans know Boston Bruins’ winger David Pastrňák can pile up the points, and now the NHL star is teaming with Dunkin’, the official US coffee, donut and breakfast sandwich of the National Hockey League.

Pastrňák, also known as ‘Pasta,’ is an NHL All-Star and the league’s co-leader in power play goals, as well as the star of the newest Dunkin’ spot. In the campaign the brand declares ‘Where There’s Hockey, There’s Dunkin’.’ The spot, ‘Penalty Box Regular’ finds Pasta whistled for tripping. As he enters the penalty box, viewers see that it’s a fully stocked Dunkin’ with its own barista, who already knows the player’s regular drink, an icy Dunkin’ Cold Brew coffee.

The spot will debut during the 2019 Honda NHL All-Star Game this Saturday (Jan. 26) night on NBC. The fully integrated campaign, developed by BBDO New York, will run on television, as well as online and across the brand’s various social channels.
