Foot Locker and Asics created a five-part animated miniseries to help promote the shoe brands newest clothing and footwear line.

Called 'The Sun and the Snake', the series takes after the 'Welcome to the Dojo black and golden-yellow garments that make up its collection. The five-part series follows a young samurai-in-training who’s forced to quest for his prized sneakers.

BBDO New York partnered with Shotopop, an illustration and design studio brought the concept to life with anime-inspired action sequences and a quick pace (the total length is 5 minutes) that gives a breeziness of flipping through a comic book.

Casted as voice actors for the mini-series: fashion influencer Luka Sabbat as the protagonist, rapper Princess Nokia as his right-hand ally, and recording artist YFN Lucci as one of young samurai’s more spirited opponents.
