A massive mural popped up in Birmingham this week to the excitement of fans of popular BBC show Peaky Blinders.

The artwork features Cillian Murphy’s character Tommy Shelby and was commissioned by the BBC to reveal that February 27 will see the Brummie gangster drama begin its final season.

Street artist Akse is the talent behind the 12.71m (42ft) high artwork, which took a week to complete and can be found in the city’s Digbeth area. His previous work includes a painting of England footballer Marcus Rashford in Manchester last year.
