In an interpretation of Alfred Lloyd Tennyson’s classic poem “In Memoriam A.H.H.”, Save the Children Sweden (Rädda Barnen) collaborates with climate activist Greta Thunberg to ‘ring in the new and ring out the old’ for its new brand campaign.

Save the Children is the world’s leading independent NGO for children’s rights. With this brand campaign, the charity’s Swedish arm seeks to deliver a new vision for building a brighter future and helping every child reach their full potential.

Many of the world’s greatest challenges, like the climate crisis, refugee crisis and the current pandemic, are the result of failures of the adult world. Meanwhile, the younger generation is the one representing hope. In a campaign film that is currently spreading across social media, Save the Children Sweden puts the spotlight on some of the dire situations that children across the world are facing – from physical abuse to the trauma of seeking refuge from war. At the same time, the campaign, called “Here and now for the future”, projects an inspiring message about the promise of a better world. In order for that world to be possible, children need the right circumstances, here and now.
