A new campaign for payments app Steven shows users how they can rely on its services to break through the awkwardness of tallying up a bill with friends.

The TV spot shows a group of friends sitting in a medieval pub, whose post-meal camaraderie soon descends into a bickering row when it’s time to pay up.

The barkeeper helpfully suggests that they use Steven to settle their disputes – though, given their outdated attitudes towards technology, the suggestion doesn’t have the intended effect. The campaign was produced by Angwald Creative.
