A series of badges has been produced in support of healthcare workers in Singapore on the frontlines of the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

Designed and produced pro bono by 72andSunny, the messages range from ‘Majulah Medics’ to ‘Nurses are the Nicest’ and ‘Tok Kong Doctors,’ and take the form of pin badges and physical and digital stickers.

The creative agency hopes these banners will invite Singaporeans to stand by healthcare workers who not only face the stress of fighting the virus, but also have in some instances, been ostracised and shunned.

For example, some nurses have recounted on social media how they were scolded for being in uniform when taking public transport and taking the lift to go to work.

“We stand against fear and we know most Singaporeans are incredibly appreciative of our medical workers,” said Ida Siow, executive strategy director for Singapore at 72andSunny.

“This is a symbol of support for all. We feel passionately about this, as a company and as individuals, with partners or parents who are nurses, doctors and drivers.”
