The Drum Studios Account Manager

Salary: up to £25,000 depending on experience

Location: London

Drum Studios is the branded content arm of The Drum. The Drum is a global media platform and the biggest marketing website in Europe.

Drum Studios develops, produces and runs content marketing campaigns for clients across video, events and the written word. Our ambition is to produce content as good as the award-winning editorial produced by our editorial team.

All the content is developed for and in collaboration with our clients but with the interests of The Drum’s audience always at the forefront.

Our clients include Oracle, Google, Publicis, Teads, Adobe and The Trade Desk.

The rapid expansion of Drum Studios has created the need for a new core member of the team. The Drum Studios Account Manager will help deliver client projects, liaise with internal departments and external suppliers, and manage clients.

The role will entail:

  • Managing timelines for all client projects and managing overall campaign calendar
  • Production of campaign reports to agreed schedule
  • Act as Drum Studios point of contact for clients, internal Drum departments and partners/suppliers
  • Creation of detailed project plans for each campaign       
  • Daily monitor of campaigns calendar to ensure all elements on track              
  • Distribute and monitor deadlines for internal content delivery (print, online, video, events)
  • Liaise with internal departments – social, marketing, editorial, design, digital – for each campaign         
  • Manage third party suppliers – freelancers, venues etc to meet deadline and budget      
  • On the ground management of all event and shoot logistics
  • Some hours outside normal UK working hours dealing with US clients

A bit about yourself:

  • Minimum one year’s experience in a similar role
  • Experienced in working with clients in a commercial environment, preferably an agency
  • Knowledge of the marketing industry, especially digital, preferred
  • Competent in managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional attention to detail and great organisational skills

In addition to your skills and experience, we are looking for someone comfortable working in an incredibly fast paced and constantly evolving environment. International travel will be required several times a year.
