Drupal Developer

Location: Glasgow

We are looking to appoint an experienced Drupal Developer to work in our Glasgow office.

The role will involve working within a dedicated, enthusiastic team to develop features and functionality across the company’s Drupal websites, including a 24+ site Drupal multi-site and thedrum.com. This is a great opportunity for a developer with a genuine passion for finding and building solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with developers, designers, and a range of wider teams to develop our business assets. Strong teamworking and communication skills are a must.

Education

Candidates will preferably be educated to degree level in Computer Science, Web Development, or similar.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will also fulfil the following criteria:

• Strong procedural and OO PHP skills
• Strong SQL skills with emphasis on relational database design
• Strong knowledge of Drupal 7
• Expertise with AJAX (jQuery and standard JavaScript)
• Expertise in HTML, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with version control, preferably git
• Experience with front-end build systems such as Gulp, Grunt, etc.
• Building Drupal features in a performant manner

Experience

Ideally a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, including work with Drupal projects
