Salary: £21,000-£24,000

This role is to support the CRM Manager in maintaining and improving our CRM system (Salesforce), delivering the improvements needed to meet the rapidly-growing requirements of The Drum.

The role is also primarily tasked with providing day-to-day support to The Drum across a number of departments and locations, so therefore the CRM Executive will be required to create and maintain good relationships with the user base. The role will also require creating a strong understanding of The Drum, its various divisions and strategic priorities in order to deliver the best outputs for the whole organisation.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, logic and process and take pride in performing own job, using a relentless attention to detail to ensure the CRM system is maintained to the highest standards.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Degree educated - Information Technology, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or Business degrees preferred.
  • Understanding of Marketing Automation systems and their capabilities, preferably Pardot
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative in order to solve support issues
  • Ability to balance daily support issues with longer term tasks and objectives
  • An understanding of the advertising, media and marketing landscape would be desirable but training can be provided.
  • Good understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Presentation skills to deliver training where necessary.
  • Basic understanding of Data protection and its importance
  • Daily administration and support of the Salesforce database including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customisation of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations and workflows.
  • Design and implement lead assignment rules
  • Develop and create customised Reports and Dashboards
  • Usage of Sandboxes managing system changes without interruption
  • Manage quote templates, price books and multiple currencies
  • Advanced use of Excel
  • Experience using Dataloader.io desirable
