Client Services Executive/Manager

Overview

The Drum currently has an exciting opportunity in our New York office for a Client Services Executive/Manager to join the team behind the most popular media and marketing platform in Europe, and the fastest growing in the US. This is a pivotal role that focuses on delivering excellent service to The Drum’s highest value clients who use our award-winning branded content arm, Drum Studios.

The Role 

Reporting to the Head of Branded Content, our NYC Client Services Executive/Manager will be responsible for ensuring that content projects are delivered on time and on budget. Our branded content offering ranges from whitepapers and webinars to videos and managed events. Solutions are often bespoke and usually multi-channel so a high level of organisation is needed. The role is highly collaborative both internally and externally and so communication is key.

Key responsibilities for the role include: 

  • To be a key point of contact for branded content clients of The Drum
  • To consistently deliver and maintain an excellent level of client service
  • To assist in the planning of branded content campaigns including timelines and deliverables 
  • To project manage branded content campaigns to ensure deliverables to agreed timelines 
  • To help source external resources for branded content projects, including venues and freelancers
  • To ensure costs incurred on projects are kept within agreed budgets
  • To work with the marketing team to plan, design and implement marketing to ensure the delivery of campaigns utilising existing and identifying new databases 
  • To support multichannel campaigns 
  • To provide timely post-campaign reports and feedback, and regular reviews for ongoing work 
  • To identify and communicate upsell opportunities 
  • To utilise client communication and project management software, maintaining accurate records of all stages of campaigns 
  • To be a core player in The Drum Branded Content team, contributing ideas and feedback 

The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

  •  Experience of client relationship management
  •  Project management skills
  •  Strong communication, internal and external
  •  Ability to work effectively in a growing organisation with multiple stakeholders 
  •  Events experience
  • A collaborative, creative spark with the ability to effectively work with other departments
  • Proven experience in a similar role
